- Kennebunk Light & Power Praises On Target for Emergency Restoration
- November 21, 2016
Crews were recently called to complete an emergency restoration for Kennebunk Light & Power (KLP) after a car hit a very busy pole. The crews responded on Saturday July 30th and completed the restoration. Mark D, General Foreman at KLP, was very pleased and sent John Fallona the email below after the crews had completed the job:
"Good afternoon, Mark from Kennebunk Light and Power here. We had a car break a 50/2 pole with 2 spacer cable circuits and an open crossarmcircuit on Thursday night. I got ahold of Jim Conroy an hour after the accident and we made plans to look at it Friday am. We got a plan in place to change it out today I spent the rest of the day notifying a handful of businesses that we needed a 1 hour outage Sat am. Jim and his crews - 2 diggers & 3 buckets - did an amazing job. You definitely have some hard working crews that have obviously spent a lot of hours together. This was a hard corner pole which involved setting a temporary 50' pole just to be able to handle the top of the broken pole. It is always a pleasure and as stress free as these jobs could possibly be when working with On Target, Jim and the boys.
Big thanks from KLP."

- On Target to Support Center for Grieving Children Through Partnership with Maine Red Claws
- November 20, 2016
The Maine Red Claws are thrilled to welcome On Target Utility Services aboard as one of our brand new corporate partners. Fans will recognize On Target as the new sponsor of Hoops For Hope. For every free throw made this season, a donation will be made to the Center For Grieving Children, thanks to the Red Claws and On Target.
Having a meaningful presence throughout the state of Maine and working hard to not only do business in the community, but also play an active role in the growth and support of the community is important to both the Red Claws and On Target, which makes the relationship between the two businesses a perfect fit.
"The Center for Grieving Children provides tremendous support to so many in need in this area. After meeting Anne Heros from the Center and getting a tour of the facility, we were impressed with how much impact the Center has not only within Portland, but also throughout the entire state," said Michael Fallona, Vice President of Locating and Corporate Services.
"After learning of that impact and seeing how the Red Claws have been connecting local businesses to the Center, we were happy and proud to come on board as a partner for the Hoops for Hope Program."
Thank you, On Target, for being one of our great partners!
